Beauty Beholder

"Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder" written to describe how beauty is observed to the one who is watching. Beauty is beyond our perception, for its mere existence comes from the Designer of all things, who spoke beauty into being.  We may perceive something less or more attractive based on outward appearances, but  He looks beyond outward, and views within, where true beauty resides.  Define beauty is to define the Beholder, the one who originated, initiated beauty, the Beauty Beholder, the Beauty Bestow er, undefined and indescribable is He. Our awareness is blinded by our own interpretation and limited perceptions, God on the other hand, sees a reflection of Himself,  like a mirror reflects an image.  Perceptions have been wrong because of  the unknown, unwilling to look and see beyond the appearance, our shallow misconceptions, the value above the view we call unattractive, less than, doesn't fit the mode.  How hollow our field of vision,  the unnoticed blessings of beauty by virtue through our smallness.  Look again, stare if you must, gaze at the beauty of opinion of ugliness.  Look closer, don't turn away, focus.  Don't miss grace through offensiveness.  Look over the ugliness and see Grace, beauty bestowed by the Designer who formed that which we disregard, overlook.  Beauty  is in the eye of The Beholder.  Look again, see the mirror and what is reflected.  Can you see the beauty that is being bestowed right before your very eyes? Behold His beauty in the unsightliness, the unattractiveness, the depravity.  the deformity, the uncleanness. Beyond the outward is beauty which beckons us to recognize and adore.

Winter Rest

Winter is a time of rest, a slowing season for our souls.  Like snow falling quietly, peacefully, it comes to rest and lay upon a life that needs perspective.  Hearts renew as peace finds rest and tranquility in winter's rest. Our souls find reflection, refreshment, fulfillment in the calmness and the slowness of the still snow.  Unlike snow that falls and blankets the cold ground and stays until warmth melts, your love O Lord, falls fresh and is unfailing,  pure.  Your unfailing love lays on the coldness of my heart to warm up to melt away, to remove the fears, the doubts, the impurities of a calloused heart.  Your loving ever-presence rest on me, my heart  cold like pure snow yet un-pure, makes me whiter than fresh flakes of snow on grass. Your unfailing love warms my heart that is fridge, broken, hurt in need of healing rest, hope.  Rest in Winter warms the soul by the hearth of Your Spirit, and Presence of Your Hope. Winter season gives rest in His unfailing love where the slowing down we  find peace and rest for our tired and weary souls.  Rejoice, Renew and Rejuvenate in Winter Rest.

Psalms 33:22  "May your unfailing love rest upon us (me) O Lord, even as we (I) put our (my) hope in you."

God Moments

r
Every moment is a great moment because they are all God moments, glorious moments.  He is the Giver of the moment.  The one who is supreme, He is in the moments.  Occasions that take your  breath away, devastating moments, junctures of pain, loss, disappointment,  overwhelming moments that leave you undone.  A point in time, when everything changes, He is there, He has always been there.  Everything altered, a new life, a baby born cries out for breathe a beautiful miracle, a miraculous moment.  The reborn life, an eternal moment, death to life, abundant life, forever life changing glorious moment.  Stand still never want to end moments, Moments you want to seize, grab hold of, never let go. Frozen in awe,  speechless, no words come nor can describe God in the moments.  Just embrace Him, now, this moment, forever.
